Join FORGE and Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, Inclusion Health Clinic for a fun structured time of learning and exploration. Fermented Soda! Description: Interested in finding a new quarantine hobby? Join us for a relaxed info session and hangout where FORGE’s Caleb Weinhardt will demo making fermented soda from ginger bug (the starter) to finished drinks! Fermented soda is a simple homemade drink made with ginger and sugar that can be flavored with all kinds of fruits and plants. Some favorite flavors include blueberry, Oregon grape, sumac, elderberry, and fennel! Presenter: Caleb Weinhardt Caleb Weinhardt is an undergraduate student at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and studies Psychology. His previous work with FORGE has included leading outdoor activities with the FORGE Outdoors program and organizing volunteers during Milwaukee PrideFest.
