[CONNECT] Getting the Touch You Need and Deserve!

July 16, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm CDT

Connect PACTNOW
Getting the Touch You Need and Deserve square

Join FORGE and Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, Inclusion Health Clinic for supportive social connection.

Description:

Touch is an important part of most everyone’s life. During COVID-19, many of us have radically changed our contact with others – including hand offs of a coffee cup from our favorite barista, simple handshakes, hugs from our friends, or sex with our partners or dates.  We’ll have ample time to share about what the role of touch is (or had been) in our lives, how we can incorporate more touch if we want to, and how to assess and decide on weighing our risks.

About CONNECT events:

CONNECT groups are interactive times for supportive sharing, learning, and having focused discussion on specific pre-determined topics.
Connect groups are a gently moderated time that allows people to share what’s going on in their lives, connect with others, and feel support during these tough times.
Groups offer opportunities to connect with new and old friends, reduce isolation and loneliness, and have some fun in the process!
