Donations to LGBT Community Center Food Pantry

We encourage you to bring food donations for the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center’s food pantry when you attend the December 16, 2017 FORGE monthly meeting.

The Pantry is used by Project Q and other participants in Center activities who are hungry and/or need food to take home.  All kinds of non-perishable foods are acceptable, but they are especially happy to receive ready-to-eat items with substance and protein which people could eat cold out of the container or heat up if they have the resources, in cans with pull tops or the like so they don’t require a can opener. This would include items like canned stew and canned spaghetti w/meat. Microwave meals would also be valuable additions (either frozen or add hot water), like hot pockets and cup-o-noodles etc.
