Aidan Key is the founder and director of Gender Diversity, an organization that provides education and support for families who are raising transgender or gender diverse children. After a parent’s realization that their child is transgender — but often before they have had a chance to catch their breath — the question of how to navigate schools looms large and immediate.
This session will provide parents, families, community members, advocates, and allies with important information on countering bullying, navigating school/community conversations, and creating safe and nurturing educational environments for trans and gender diverse youth.
