Instead, we encourage everyone to consider attending the Victory Institute’s LGBTQ Leadership Summit. This day-long, intensive training is designed to grow LGBTQ public service leaders. Summit trainees will participate in discussions on how LGBTQ leaders can successfully and effectively advocate for equality in today’s political climate. Speakers include Rep. JoCasta Zamarripa, former Houston Mayor Annise Parker, Sen. Timothy Carpenter, and other local leaders. FREE, but RSVP deadline is April 20.
