Ice Skating at Red Arrow Park

We’re so excited to share these upcoming FORGE Outdoors events for the winter! FORGE Outdoors offers free, inclusive outdoor activities for transgender/non-binary individuals and their friends, family and loved ones in in the Milwaukee area. This week, we will be meeting at Red Arrow Park to gather for group ice skating! This is the perfect opportunity to get out on the ice, whether you love to skate every winter or have never tried it before!
 

Waiver:

Time:

12:00-3:00 PM.
 

Location:

We will meet at Red Arrow Park (920 N Water St, Milwaukee, WI 53202) outside under the arrow! Please plan to meet the group at 12:00, but feel free to join us on the ice if you arrive later. If you arrive and have difficulty finding the meeting location, please text or call Caleb at 414-249-6746. (Note: the Starbucks at Red Arrow Park does not have gender inclusive restrooms).
 

Transportation:

Red Arrow Park is accessible by the Green line, the 15, 57, 143 (with stops at Water & State and Water & Kilbourn) and 49 (stops on Kilbourn & Water). If you have additional transportation questions or needs, please contact Caleb ahead of time at caleb@forge-forward.org.
 

What to bring:

Yourself, warm & weather-appropriate clothing (with layers: gloves and hats recommended!), and ice skates if you have them! FORGE will be able to cover the cost of rental ice skates for anyone who does not have their own. We recommend bringing $5 for a hot drink at Starbucks if you would like!
Please bring any personal medication, such as inhalers or epi-pens, even if you do not think you will need them on this outing. Your safety is extremely important!
